Crèche and activities for children under 7 will be held during the morning service.  Tea and coffee will be served after both the morning and the evening service.

Sole Mates: Our next walk will take place on Monday 12 August meeting at 1.30pm.
The Deeside railway line is the location for this month’s outing.  The meeting place is Duthie Park Car Park at the bottom of Polmuir Road. Speak to Wilma, Isobel or Rob for more details. It may be worth considering car sharing as there may be limited spaces due to school holidays

Holiday Club: Our inter-church Holiday club takes place this year from Monday 12 August to Friday 16 August in the YMCA and Hebron halls.  The week ends with a family service which will be held in Gilcomston church on Sunday 18 August. Little Lambs runs all week in Bon Accord.

Legacy: The games in the dark week of fun for teens LEGACY is soon here. It runs from Monday 12 August until Friday 16 August, in the evenings from 7:00-10:00. If you have or are a teen entering S1-S6, please join us for an epic night of games in the dark at Hebron Evangelical Church 7:00-10:00, August 12-16.
Registration is open online on the Hebron Evangelical Church website, and all teens must be registered to be allowed entry. (Registration is available for parents at the door, but unregistered teens unaccompanied by parents are not allowed to enter.)
We usually have over 30 teens that attend each night (sometimes upwards of 50), so we greatly appreciate your prayers for a smooth week of safety, fun, and Gospel witness as we bring the news of Jesus’ amazing saving work to them. Thank you again for all of your support and encouragement over the years with this ministry.

Church Big Clean: We are going to have a big clean of the church on Tuesday 20 August starting at 7pm. It would be great to have as many people as possible to help with this. We should be finished by about 9pm.

Food Bank: On Saturday 24 August Aberdeen North Foodbank will be at Tesco Danestone, from 9am - 4pm, informing local people about the foodbank and accepting donations. Our foodbank is part of the Trussell Trust Foodbank Network. 90% of the food distributed in the network comes from donations.  If you want to volunteer on the day - please sign up on   https://www.signupgenius.com/go/70a0b4baea72ca3f58-tesco1

Congregational Outing: All are invited to the Congregational Outing on 31 August from 2-5pm at Hillview Community Church. Each NF has been assigned a part. Please speak to your leaders, or to Wilma or Suzanne for more information.

Bible and Bagels:  We will recommence on 1 September at 10am in the

Session meeting room. We will continue the R.C. Sproul series ‘Dust to

Glory’, working our way through the New Testament.

Ladies Book Study: We will start a new book - Identity Theft, edited by Melissa Kruger on Monday 2 September.  If anyone would like to order a copy of the book or more details of the group please speak to Wilma. It is a good way to meet new people and study God’s word

Directory Photos: Photos for the new congregational directory will be taken following the morning services on the 25 August and 1 September. Please come prepared to have a photo taken if you would like to have your photo included in the

directory.

Generation 19: As part of Bon Accord's participation in 'Generation 19' we are planning to put on a Chinese mid autumn 'moon cake festival' on Friday 20 September aimed at the newly arriving Chinese overseas students, as well as people from the Aberdeen Chinese community. Members of Bon Accord will also be invited. Eugene and Carol are going to be heading this up but we are seeking volunteers to help. If you are willing to get involved then please contact either Christian or Eugene.
We are also looking for six volunteers, along with myself, to commit to regular prayer  in the planning and build up to the event itself. We don't, necessarily, have to get together regularly, although one or two corporate prayer sessions would be good. I'm just looking for six other individuals who pledge to pray committedly in the run up to the event itself and who will help with specific prayer points to ensure that we are petitioning and inquiring of the Lord as much as possible for its success. If you want to know more or are keen to get involved on that front then please speak with Christian, or contact on 07834279736.

Choices Pregnancy Counselling Service: This year Aberdeen is hosting the Scottish Centre’s day conference in Aberdeen on Saturday 28 September. This day will include information and training on a Post Abortion Healing Course developed by Holy Trinity Brompton Church(HTB).

A team of three counsellors will come up for the day from London and will explain the vision behind the Post Abortion Healing Course.  They will also give delegates the opportunity to experience a session of the course. This seminar is suitable for anyone interested.  There will be opportunities to ask questions and look at the materials available. For further details about the day speak to Wilma M. Booking is essential. The seminars will take place from 1.30 – 3.45 p.m. at Credo Centre, John Street.
