For more information on the road closures on the day of the run, visit https://www.eveningexpress.co.uk/fp/news/local/roads-shut-for-big-run/ or https://www.greatrun.org/great-aberdeen-run/event-info

Congregational Fellowship: There will be a congregational fellowship after the evening service on Sunday 26 August, including a short talk on how we as a congregation can help and support students and young workers through the cords and hospitality programs.

Ladies Bible Study: The ladies Bible study restarts on Wed 29 Aug at 10am in the small hall. All ladies are warmly invited to join us as we start a new study in Daniel. Creche available.

Adult Sunday School: Bon Accord is relaunching the Adult Sunday School class, Bible and Bagels. The weekly class will start on 2 September, meeting from 10:00-10:45am in the small hall. We will be continuing “From Dust to Glory” by R.C. Sproul. If you are interested in being a facilitator or have any questions, please see Jason Chambers. Activities for under 7s will be available.

WfM Away Day: This takes place on Saturday 15 September in Inverness. The theme is “Prayer – Keep the conversation flowing”. More information can be found on the web site www.womenformission.org/away-day . This is a great opportunity to worship God together and meet old friends and make new ones. There are also craft tables with potential Christmas presents available!

Friends International: Friends international are looking for host families for international students. This involves having some international students for a meal a minimum of a couple of times in the year. An email has been circulated via the Bon Accord list about this. If you did not receive the email but are interested in this please speak to Isobel and I will forward the information to you.

Food Bank & Lunch Club: New rotas are being prepared for these, and if anyone would like to help with either then please contact Anne Smith

Gallery Window: Please be advised that the stained glass window which is upstairs in the gallery area  of the sanctuary has been accidentally damaged. This area is now unsafe as a result and has been sealed off at either end of the pew.  Until such time as a proper repair can be carried out a temporary covering has also been put in place. Please stay clear of this area. Also, under no circumstances should anyone consider stepping over the back pew, this is extremely dangerous and could result in life threatening injuries.
