Crèche and Sunday school will be held during the morning service.  Tea and coffee will be served after both the morning and the evening service.

Congregational walk: Our annual congregational walk will take place on Saturday 8 June.  We will meet at 2pm at the main gates of Dunecht Estate.  This is in Dunecht village on the A944.  There is parking at the gates and opposite Jaff's restaurant and the local garage. There is no parking within the estate.
Further details of the walk can be found on www.walkhighlands.co.uk.  There are options regarding lengths of walk or going up Barmekin hill!!
There will be signing up sheets at the front entrance of the church and at the servery in the large hall.  Following the walk everyone is invited back to Wilma's for tea.
Please remember to bring water, suitable footwear and  waterproof jacket with you.
If anyone brings a dog they must be kept on their lead during the walk.
If you would like more information regarding the walk etc, please speak to Wilma.

Solas – Confident Christianity Course: Solas are holding a day conference in Aberdeen  entitled “Confident Christianity”. This will take place in Hebron on 1 June. Tickets cost £15 and include lunch. There is an excellent line-up of speakers. More details and tickets are available on the Solas web site www.solas-cpc.org.

Jonathan Worthington and TLI: Jonathan has recently had an opportunity to deliver a training course for church leaders in Mongolia. He is looking for funding to take advantage of this opportunity. If you are able to give an additional donation to help with this or if you’re not currently supporting Jonathan’s work but would like to then please use https://www.give.net/20209938 to donate. Jonathan plans to be in Aberdeen in November when he’ll be able to give an update on his work with TLI in general, and hopefully Mongolia in particular. If you would like more information please speak to Donald Smith.

Teens Fellowship: Teens will meet next Sunday where the discussion will be about stress and anxiety.

Choices Aberdeen: Choices Aberdeen are running a charity shop from 17 to 21 June at 346 George Street. All donations would be gratefully received, and can be left in the Bethany Box in the large hall. For more information on Choices and the services they offer, visit their website athttps://www.choicesaberdeen.org.uk/ or speak to Wilma M.

Foodbank: We are running very low on a few items for Foodbank. Items most needed are long-life milk, tinned fruit, and rice pudding/custard. All donations are appreciated and can be left in the collection boxes in the large hall.

Lift Update: Firstly I'd like to apologise for the lack of information regarding what is happening with the lift. I acknowledge that it is having a detrimental impact on those who are less able to cope with the stairs. The current situation is that the new lift company we have hired have not been able to pinpoint the exact nature of the fault as yet and have recommended that an entire new circuit board be installed, which is on order from Italy. It is this order that is prolonging the delay we are all experiencing. The good news is that we have agreed a quote to convert the lift to a simple push button operated one, eliminating the need for an authorised person with a key to operate it. Every effort is being made to try and get it operational again so please bear with us. If you want further clarification, then please come and speak to me.
Christian.
