Prayer Points for the week ahead:

Our Church
  • Pray for Joe as he preaches God’s Word to us week by week. Pray that God would help him as he prepares and studies and grant him times of refreshment throughout the week.

  • At the Prayer Meeting, we have begun going through the “A Passion for Life” material, to help us share our faith more intentionally. Pray that we will put into practice what we have been learning. Pray for opportunities this week to speak about the Lord Jesus with folks around us and for joy and boldness in sharing when these opportunities come.

  • Give thanks for the marriage of Gillian and Chris and pray for them as they make arrangements to relocate to Vancouver Island.

  • Pray for those who find it difficult through health or circumstances to be with us in person on a Sunday. Pray they would know God’s loving care

City and Nation

  • Pray for Aberdeen University and RGU Christian Unions
Aberdeen University Christian Union has just finished a week of events based around the themes of freedom, hope, justice and life. Pray for those who came along to the events that they would be challenged by what they heard, and many would come to put their hope in Christ.
RGU Christian Union begins its events week on Monday 14th. Pray for all those involved from Bon Accord and for the speakers who will share about their hope in Christ and that many would hear the gospel. Pray for boldness for the students as they share their faith.  Pray also for Rhiannon as she supports the RGU CU.
  • Hope Church Blackwood & Kirkmuirhill
On 6th March we celebrate our 8th year as a congregation with the completion of the renovations to our building. Over lockdown, we have added two halls, a café area, and finally a well-equipped kitchen. Our intention is that our building will be a welcoming place for the local community where they will meet not just with Christians but with the Lord Jesus.

  • Maryburgh & Killearnan
Pray for the residents of 16 new homes in the village of Maryburgh who will receive a welcome card from the church. The card contains a welcome, information about services, and a short testimony from the minister. Pray the Lord will bless this and open doors as we meet the new people with these cards
The World

  • International Mission to Jewish People
AMSTERDAM: Asaf Pelled has re-established contact with John, a Jewish man with whom he used to regularly study the Bible. Please pray that John will come to know the Messiah as Asaf begins sharing the Good News with him again.

  • T, Central Asia
Pray for the growing community of deaf Christians in T. Also for those seeking to reach deaf people in the country with the Gospel, and for churches that minister to them.
