Bible and Bagels: Bible and Bagels restarts this week looking at Ezra and Nehemiah. Next week we will look at Amos and Hosea.

Christianity Explored: A Christianity Explored course will start on Tuesday 22 January for 7 weeks. This starts at 7.00pm with a meal followed by the course and will be finished by 9.00pm. Please invite friends who are interested in finding out more about the Christian faith. Leaflets are available at the church door. Please let Suzanne, This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it., know if you or someone you know would like to attend.

Marmalade: There will be marmalade for sale again this year. All proceeds go to Free Church camp funds. Many of us have been involved with camps so are aware of the important work they do with young people.

WfM Fund Raising evening: We plan to hold a fund raising evening on Saturday 2 March to raise funds for this years WfM project. This will be a quiz along with some food. Leaflets with details of the project are on the notice board in the hall downstairs or can be found on the Women for Mission web-site. Please note the date. Further details will be available nearer the time.

Bethany Christian Trust: Bethany Christian Trust is holding an Afternoon Tea at Hillview Community Church on Saturday 2ndFebruary from 2pm – 4pm. Tickets cost £20. The link to buy tickets is here.. https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/bethany-afternoon-tea-tickets-52957765101?aff=ebdssbdestsearch. All money raised goes directly to Bethany.

Bethany says “This event is to support our Community Support & Development work in Aberdeen. We run a variety of services from Kings Community Church and Seaton Community Church. For example, our work in Kings Community Church includes the Toastie Club. This group is a safe place for people to have lunch, access support and build friendships. The group looks to provide support for those in crisis, however they also provide opportunities for people to build on their gifts and to learn new skills.”
