Crèche, and activities for children under 7 will be held during the morning service.  Tea and coffee will be served after both the morning and the evening service.

 

Bible and Bagels: Bible and bagels will not take place this week or next week before the morning service but will recommence the following week.

 

November Communion: The November communion will be celebrated on Sunday 4 November. There will be preparatory services on Friday and Saturday (both at 7:30pm). Our guest preacher for the weekend is Dr. David Gibson, minister of Trinity Church, Aberdeen and currently the moderator of the International Presbyterian Church (IPC). While folks are encouraged to become members of Bon Accord at any time in the year the communion weekend is a particularly suitable time to do so. If you would like to become a member of the church, be that by transfer from another congregation or by profession of faith, please speak to David (This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.) or any of the elders. The evening servive will be followed by a congregational fellowship

 

Weekend Away: The teens and youth weekend away will be held from 16-18
November at Lendrick Muir. Please speak to John MacPherson for more
information.

 

Data Protection/ Safeguarding/ Social Media policies:  An in-house training event will take place in Bon Accord at 9.30am Saturday 24 November 2018. More details to follow. Please put this date in your diary.

 

Blythswood Shoe Box Appeal:  We will be collecting Christmas shoeboxes over the next few weeks so please think about participating and bringing joy to someone this Christmas.  Leaflets with full instructions are available at the entrance.  Please see the newsletter for more details.  Filled boxes must be returned no later than Sunday 4th November.

 

Sunday School Christmas Party: The Sunday school Christmas party will take place on 8 December from 2.30-4.30pm. Please put this date in your diaries.

 

Generation Mission: Generation Mission is holding a church planting vision weekend from 23 – 25 November in Edinburgh. The main speaker is James Forsyth. Further details can be found on the web-site https://generation-mission.org/news/church-planting-vision-weekend.

 

Sole Mates: The next walk with Sole Mates will be on Monday 12 November, meeting at 1.30pm. Leaflets with further details are available at the church door.

 

OMF Prayer Meeting: Caitriana, who has been working abroad with OMF, will be at the OMF prayer meeting in Aberdeen on Monday 19 November. Further details of the venue for the prayer meeting can be obtained from Moira.
