Creche, Sunday school and Bible study will be held during the morning service. Tea and coffee will be served after both the morning and evening service.

 

WfM: Thank you to those who came to the curry evening and who have already contributed to the WfM collection for this year. If you have not already contributed please put your contribution in an envelope marked WfM and place it in the collection plate. Details of the project are on the noticeboard downstairs.

 

Ladies meeting: The ladies meeting will be held in the manse on Monday 29 January at 8pm. This meeting is to arrange events and practical help for people who need it in the congregation.

 

February Missionary Prayer Notes: These are available to collect from the church door from this weekend.

 

AIM conference: AIM are holding a one day Scottish conference on Saturday 24 March 2018 in Perth Baptist church from 10am – 4.30pm Booking is required. If you are interested please speak to Wilma Nicolson for more information

 

 

 

Bon Accord Administrative Assistant: Suzanne Chambers has been appointed to this role and will start work from the beginning of February. Suzanne will be working four mornings a week.

 

New NF Study Guide: The new study guide for our home study groups is now available.  Entitled “James: genuine faith”, the guide will be available at the bookstall
following the morning service, priced £3.00 .

 

Food Bank Collection: Volunteers are requested for the following food bank collection in Tesco. The food from this collection goes to our food bank and any help with this is much appreciated.

 

Date: 2nd – 3rd February  (you can attend any or either of these days)

Time: 9am-5pm (anytime within then but preferably for two hours or more)

Location: Tesco Extra, Danestone, Laurel Drive, AB22 8HB

Purpose: Collecting food and money donations in store

Sunday, 4 February, Evening Service: Hamish Sneddon, Ministry Associate, St. Andrews Free Church will preach at this service.. Hamish is the main speaker at the Aberdeen University CU Mission running from Monday, 5 February to Friday, 9 February.

Congregational Fellowship: There will be a congregational fellowship after the evening service on Sunday 4 February from 7.30 – 8.30pm. This is to present the strategy document to the congregation. Paper copies of the document will be available from this weekend and it will also be available to view on the web-site at this link.

Sole Mates (Bon Accord Walking Group): For our February walk we will meet at the cafe in Hazelhead Park on Monday 12 February at 1.30pm. If the weather is not suitable for walking, we will have a cup of coffee and chat! If you need a lift or more details please speak to Wilma, Isobel or Stephen. It is a good opportunity to get exercise, enjoy the countryside and get to know each other better!   Please put the date and time in your diary !


Concert with Alex MacDonald and band: Alex and his band will be playing on Saturday, 3 March at 7:30pm in Bon Accord. Donations will be taken at the door with proceeds to Aberdeen YMCA.

Glorious 2018: Leaflets about the Glorious conference for women are available now on the table at the door. This will be held on Saturday 27 February. Tickets are available from Aberdeen box office.
