Bon Accord Bulletin 20th and 27th December 2020

Services:

Services, for those not attending the church in person, can be found by logging in to the Bon Accord Free Church web site, bafreechurch.org.uk and then clicking “sermons” followed by “live sermons” or by logging on live.bafreechurch.org.uk. Both morning and evening services will be live streamed.

The services this weekend will be conducted by Rev. Iver Martin. Next weekend the services will be conducted by Rev. Donald Martin and on 3 January by Rev. Alex MacDonald.

There will be no weekday services, midweek prayer meetings or neighbourhood fellowships, in the weeks commencing 20 December and 27 December.  The Kirk Session has decided that there will be no Christmas Eve or New Year’s Day services due to the difficulties associated with the Covid 19 regulations and restrictions.

Return to worshipping in Bon Accord’s building:

The church building capacity is still restricted to 50 people, therefore registering in advance is essential. An online form will be sent out each week via email.

Updated information on changes to the church building layout and operating procedures for people in the building is available on the church website. Included in this information is the recent update in Scottish Government guidance stating that it is now mandatory for members of the congregation to wear a face mask at all times when in the church building.

Communion:

The Session have decided to resume communion services at Bon Accord, under limited and regulated conditions because of Covid 19. The sacrament of the Lord's Supper will be administrated at both services on Sunday, 20 December.
