Crèche and activities for children under 7 will be held during the morning service.  Tea and coffee will be served after both the morning and the evening service.

We welcome Calum Cameron to our pulpit today. Calum is a minister in training at St Columba’s church in Edinburgh. Please note that Iver Martin will be taking the services next Sunday in stead of Daniel Sladek as there is a congregational meeting following the morning service. Daniel will be with us on 15 March.

Congregational meeting: There will be a short congregational meeting after the morning service on Sunday 23 February to form a vacancy committee.

Discipleship Explored: We will start a new course of Discipleship Explored on 10 March. This is suitable for all and anyone interested is welcome. It is particularly useful for those who are new to being a Christian. We meet at 7pm for a meal and then start the course around 7.45pm, finishing at 9pm. If anyone can help with preparing the meal or helping in the kitchen for a session please speak to Janice.

Bible and Bagels: Bible and bagels takes place on Sunday morning starting at 10.00am. We will continue to look at the series “Dust to Glory” an Overview of the Bible with R. C. Sproul. Although this is a series, each lesson stands alone and it is quite possible to come on an occasional basis. There will be no Bible and Bagels this week due to the school holidays.

Margaret’s Marmalade: There is marmalade for sale again this year. It will be downstairs on the servery after the morning service and costs £2 a jar. The money from this goes to Free Church Youth Camps. Supply is limited so make sure you get your jar(s) quickly.

Teens activities: Teens fellowship will take place on Sunday 23 February when Cassia will lead and begin a series on “The Five Points of Calvinism”. Today is an introduction and Point 1: Total Depravity.

Defibrillator training: Bon Accord has recently purchased a defibrillator for the building to be used in case of emergency. We have approached an external educator to deliver in-house training in the use of defibrillators on 22 February and would like to invite members of the congregation to participate. Spaces are limited, so an effort will be made to prioritise individuals who have roles in groups that use the Church building regularly. However, follow-up training sessions can be explored, if the need is identified. Please use the link on the circulated email to indicate if you would like to attend. If you did not receive the email speak to Suzanne.

Bon Accord Mission Budget: 2019 was a very encouraging year for Bon Accord's mission support. We gave out £14,000 to our supported missions, while payments into the fund totalled over £20,000. Thanks to everyone who gave to support the Lord's work and who prayed for our supported missions.

As a result, we have increased the budget for 2020 to £20,700. There are a couple of new supported missions: Operación San Andrés in Peru and Alex Hanna as CU Staff Worker. A sheet with further details is available at the door.

All donations given at the evening service are dedicated to the mission budget. You can also give at the morning service in a suitably marked envelope. The other option is to set up a standing order to the Bon Accord Mission Account (Bank: Royal Bank of Scotland, Sort Code: 83-15-31, Account number: 17092678).

We would encourage you to find out more about and pray for the supported missions. We hope you have found the evening service mission slots useful, and we look forward to continuing these in 2020. There is also a section of the wall in the downstairs hall dedicated to information on our supported missions.

If you have any questions, please speak Rob MacDonald.

Girl’s Bible Study: The girl’s Bible study meets on a Thursday at 7.30pm. Please speak to Rhiannon, Mary or one of the Katie Ms for more information.

Fire Evacuation Procedures: Please note that escape routes and the fire assembly point, which should be used in the event of a fire, are displayed on the large screens before the morning and evening services.
