Sole Mates: This month’s walk will be on Monday 11 November and will be around Aberdeen Street Art. We will meet at the corner of Holburn Street and Great Western Road at 1.30pm.  If you need a lift or more details please speak to Wilma, Isobel or Rob. This is a good opportunity to get exercise, enjoy the countryside and the city and get to know each other better.  Dogs welcome.

Foodbank Christmas Collection: Each Wednesday afternoon, the Bon Accord Foodbank Team distribute food to those in real need (as well as hosting others who are just looking for some company).

Most of the food being distributed originates from occasional collections at Tesco stores, during which shoppers on their way in are provided with leaflets asking if they could donate something on their way out.  The generosity shown by shoppers is always so encouraging, some have arrived back at the donation point with a full trolley, left it there and then gone back in to do their own shopping.

This year the annual Christmas collection will take place from 21 to 23 November at Tesco Danestone, from 9am to 4pm each day.  The success of the collection depends on the support of people who are willing to give up an hour or two over the collection period to hand out leaflets.

If you are willing & able to help this year, please go to the link below and pop your name down for a slot or two.  Many thanks for your help.
